What is the difference between Perio-Care and Perio Gel/Perio Gel X?

The Active ingredient in Perio-Care gel (1.7% hydrogen peroxide) is the same active ingredient used in Perio Gel and Perio Gel X to fight bacteria inside the gums. Perio Gel X is slightly different than Perio Gel as it contains Xylitol (hence the X in the name). Xylitol is a great sweetener beacuse it helps prevent cavities, reduces dry mouth, fights erosion of tooth enamel and helps with the absorption of calcium which is great for your teeth. Perio-Care was the first periodontal gel to use Xylitol so you can rest assured that your gums will be in great hands!

  • Using 1x/day each tube lasts approximately 6.5 weeks
